Syncopations Are Your Friend!

Here’s a moderate finger-funk groove that uses pentatonic 16th note syncopations over an Fm chord. The notes might be easy, but trust me – THE GROOVE IS NOT! You really need to focus on your timing and your feel, because the tightness of your notes and the precision of your groove is EVERYTHING in funk music. Be sure to download the PDF Transcription and Guitar Pro File for this lesson.

If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to DM me in the Community and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! And don't forget to tell me your availability to help me schedule the next JBA Live Meetup. See ya soon!
